Job Description:

We are a growing company in the Financial Services industry that has an immediate vacancy for a Field Officer / Administrative Assistant for our Guyana office. Suitably qualified candidate should have some previous experience in banking, accounting or debt collections and have the ability to work with little to no supervision. This is an excellent position for the right candidate to join our winning team!

 

Job Description

* Provide reception services, such as greeting, screening and directing customers to the appropriate individuals in a professional manner

* Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls. Receive and distribute telephone messages, mail, deliveries and courier packages to ensure they are forwarded to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner

* Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying and mailing

* Develop and maintain an organized electronic and hard copy filing system

* Ensures the safeguarding of all confidential files

* Responsible for keeping inventory of all office supplies, placing orders for restocking and co-ordinate any required repairs or maintenance of office equipment

* Schedule and co-ordinate meetings and appointments and take detailed minutes

* Acts as a first point of contact for internal and external clients

* Produces and/or assists in the production of all internal and external reports

* Perform office errands to bank, attorney offices, and governmental agencies

* Any other duties reasonably assigned

Job Requirements:

Education & Training:

* 1-2 years in Customer Service

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Post- Secondary education an asset, but not required

* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures, would be an asset
